CLIFF 1500-1800rpm for 15 minutes? I've always gone 30 minutes at 2500rpm after setting the timing with the light. start it, set the timing, run it up to 2500 for 30 minutes shut it off, change the oil,check the valve lash,retorque the head bolts[if they were off]. I have NEVER had a cam go flat on me using this method. BTW I always use LUCAS for assembly lube.
