more on my cooling system and car.
freshly rebuilt 400 with rpm intake and .50 lift cam. only power steering puts a drag on the motor, no a/c or anything else.

4 row stock Harrison radiator which was sent out and cleaned. no fan shroud on this goat. only the metal shroud that sits on top to keep hands out. i have always known this to be a problem.

t-stat is a 180 degree. car runs 200-210 but at idle here in houston has no chance. before the rebuild didnt have near the problem but had some. the extra horsepower is generating more heat i assume.

also what do u think of a aluminum radiator? also an option. i just want the car to run cool for reliability and keep the motor running strong for a long time to come. thanks for your reponse. bye.
