Your best bet is to go with GM OEM cooling system all the way. There is no better cooling system for your car. The only thing you can do better than that is go to an aluminum radiator and you don't need one. I I would start with getting a shroud from Performance Years or find a used one for your car. Then get a Robert Shaw 160 thermostat. That may solve your problem. The shroud is most improtant while sitting in traffic or at slow speed.
