It will turn a '59 Forged Pontiac rod with a Rockwell rating of 18 into a '59 Forged Pontiac rod with a Rockwell rating of 35... roughly. That is after about 24 hours. The best part about this technology is that the hardness is to the core, if allowed the time to "cook." Other methods only treat the outside layer.
