I need more power out of my old wiper motor. Does anyone know of a good strong aftermarket replacement for the original one on my '65 GTO?

Just curious Danny are the wipers 1 or 2 speed?

I also would like info on rebuilding 2 speed wiper motor. 2nd speed is not much better than low. Could this be switch or motor? also washer pump not working, I checked for leaks & replaced Orings, but still nothing. Any help would be great.

Have you tried cleaning the brushes and segments on the commutator? You also need to check the high speed field resistor. I don't know what the value should be, but this is what makes the "fast" speed work!

64 tempest shop manual explains how to take apart wiper motor for repair. I did mine as explained and it works great.
