Is this insulation material sandwiched between the shelf and sheet metal ? The reason i ask is I looked under there from the trunk compartment up .
the metal under there looks real good. The man i bought the car from, thought it was the trunk lid fit itself. This car was redone in 1989 and still looks real good. Both quarters and shelf rear of back glass replaced at redo time .
