I know some guys who built a full on 455 that self destructed after a short while. They then chucked together another 455 out of all their old bits, just to finish the season , and the car ran it's quickest ever times! Must have been the 'racing' clearances.I know what it's like to lose an engine,I once lost three in a row while trying to develope a twin turbo system on my Pontiac.Ah, the joys of motoring.
