thanks for the replies. The carb worked fine until I tried to start it last tuesday and today. The car has been sitting for about a month since the last time I ran her.

I do have the book, but since the carb has less then 200 miles on it, I didn't think rebuilding was called for. I'll take the top off and check for trash tomorrow.
