I think you need to redo your math Will. You didn't figure in the lever ratio of the control arm which is probably 2-2.5 to 1. You also need to figure out what the spring height is because you'll be compressing the whole spring and not just an inch of it. Also divide it bye 2, becasue each spring is only supporting half the frontend weight.
I would guess about quarter to half an inch.
