I found a 70 TA yesterday that I am thinking of buying. The car was all there except for the 400CI engine. The car had a running 455,the right 12 bolt, the right 4-speed, and good solid floors and trunk pan. What would the value of that car be ? I believe the car even had the right wheels. The car needed a resto and the correct ram/air engine. The car was white with blue insides. The paint code on the car was 10 10.
I thought that was strange. would that not be a white on white car ? I've never seen a white on white car.

Thanks 70 T/A, I guess that means top and bottom. I figured it outside and inside.

The 10 10 indicates the top and bottom colors. If the car had a vinyl top, the bottom would be a 10 and the top would be a letter.

On A-bodies, it was possible to order a car with a different color on top and bottom. It had trim like a vinyl top car to separate the two different colors.

Chris, I made an offer on the car. I'm trying to buy it. I'd tell you what he ask, but there was other people there that post on this board and I don't want to show my hand rite now.
