His IHRA motors with a short rod ratio and as I previously eluded to above he says it in magazine articles, like PHR magazine on his Ford entry for the contest that had 4.250 stroke.

Of interest, On a Pontiac combo with a 4.350 stroke using a IA2 block at a 10.235 deck a 6.7 rod length would work out. It would have a piston with a 1.36 compression distance (pin height). The rod/stroke ratio would be 1.54, which in most circles would be a short rod ratio.
