lol...i stand corrected on my car's times. thanks to kiddi for providing the latest (and best) numbers. my times were on nitto drag radials with stock tires up front and i'm pretty sure the new times are on slicks with skinnies up front.

is anybody running a T-56 behind a traditional pontiac engine with any success?

tom- that's on motor...383 LT1, hydraulic roller, ported stock heads, lots of gear and lots of clutch. i used to launch it at 5000 (shifted at 6500) and i think kiddi is leaving even higher than that on the slicks. the car was full weight with a/c, leather, t-tops and full interior when it got on the boat for iceland. i'm not sure if he's taken any weight out or not.

Interesting thread as I'm considering a TKO 600 for my car right now.
I'd pretty well decided to go auto after burning up clutches last season but just can't bring myself to give up the standard.
I think I'll be pushing the 650 tq/hp rating on the Tremec and will hopefully be in the 10s next year.
The WFO Heim joint clutch linkage I saw in HPP looks to be an excellent upgrade to go with the 5-speed.
Anyone using this yet?

I used heim joints, stock alum rod/tube, and stainless threaded rod to make linkage rods. I just cut the alum to the same length as the stock rods then tapped some threads. I got the joints from McMaster-Carr.
