I used the Dude's stuff. REAL easy to work with. Some were saying it wasn't required but since I never heard anything on the down side of filling I did it. AND since you should/must fill before boring and honing the block I felt this was not something I could have done after the motor was assembled or stepped up a peg or 2. And when I was inquiring some mentioned that their motors have been tanked after filling so I see no down side other than the extra weight.
