Is anyone running the Rattler balancer? If so how did it fit? Any problems with pulley fitment or alignment? Any problems with the balancer in general?

Does it have the Pontiac style pulley bolt pattern or is the Chevy style?

I have had two of them and one was honed out to allow a slip fit on the crank snout. Most are a press fit. Chebby pattern as was said.
Stack up for pulleys was close to the other aftermarket balancers but not the factory part. Tom V.

used a master cyl hone on mine. the moldex crank snout was alittle on the high side also.....
take the crank key or keys out, when honing and checking, for a nice fit.

Been running one since 1997 with zero problems. Bolt pattern is also cheby; don’t know if they offer it with the Pontiac pattern.

Slowbird,
I have one for sale , I used it 6-7 times...It works great and comes with a double pulley set-up... I went to a small light weight balancer...VGC..$275 + Shipping...It just slips on and taps off, no balancer tool needed...Dave..1033/stk |
