Well...my reasoning was this:
I agreed that some of the unpainted suspension parts didn't look right...HOWEVER...it wasn't worth it to me to take apart my front end just to have a few parts plated or powdercoated for "aesthetics". I didn't paint it with the chrome to make it look like real chrome...I just did it to break up all the yards of black I have on the frame right now. It's not as bad looking as you might think. I painted it on some rough cast surfaces so it looks pretty good. And when you get your hand up close you can see a dull reflection of it in the paint. Bryan |
