You might try Spot-X it is sold by a company in washington state and it is excellent. You mix it into a paste and can use a small palm sander with their pads, get's them shiney new and removes small scratches. You can look them up on the internet. When I get the glass in my car I plan on having them tinted (non-a/c car), my tint shop wants all the glass in before they tint.

Eastwood sells a glass polish kit that includes compound and a buff wheel that you attach to a drill. It is supposed to remove any scratches as long as you follow the direction and not generate too much heat. You are not supposed to use it on the green tint tempered glass but the directions don't say that......
