This is a problem with an after market carb. With the car off. With a helper. Step on the gas all the way to the floor. Now is the more travel left on the carb? Is it not opening the seconderies all the way? If so take the pedal out. And where the cable rod is welded to the pedal just below that in a vise bend the foot pedal up a little at a time until you get the seconderies to open all the way. Yes the pedal will set higher but its hinged. Hope this helps!!! Bill
