Ya know, if they want top $$$, they need to have much better detail on their pics and description. Shoot the PHS doc, and put the VIN in as you spend that typoe of money on it you have to spend $35 on PHS yourself with rapid processing to be in the 6 day auction limit. Underside pics (floor pans exhaust, trans,etc.), more engine bay, trunk, and body tag, just to name a few pics. Great car needs a good followup. Agree? I mean, I for one, would like to do my homework before bidding up to a level of that cars caliber. 80K is low for that TA, but I would hesitate if I don't have all the answers up front.

I totally agree. I have my NH dealer's license and sell cars exclusively on eBay as a hobby (2-3 per month). I spend HOURS taking pictures and creating a listing. Here's an example of one that I have up now:

I have found that it makes a BIG difference to spend the time to make a good listing. With a car as rare as a 69 T/A, I definetly would be hyping the low number of productions and provide detailed pics of all components.

However, with a car like this, eBay doesn't neccesarily become the place of the transaction. It gets thousands of people looking at it and allows you to "deal off-line" to get it done. This is how I sold my Shelby Cobra a few years ago. eBay generated the interest, then the serious bidders came and inspected that car in person.
