Any Chevy v-8 engines in 1st gen. Firebirds were either owner or dealer installed-not factory . Heres a pic of a six times Champion Super Gas Firebird from England with PONTIAC POWER.

Just curious about any thoughts on my previous two posts, you know the ones that have a 1967 Firebird for sale with a numbers matching 327.

1967 Complete Restoration Firebird
When the term "complete restoration" is used does that imply that you take the factory installed engine, throw it away then find one from another manufacturer to put in it's place?
I always thought that when a "complete restoration" was done you put the car back as close as humanly possible to the way it left the factory. This complete restoration includes a 327, not a 326 or 400................a 327.
