i know my uncle had a 68 or 69 pontiac grand prix i think that he picked up and it had a 350 or 375 horse 396 in it and the car was all original...pulled the motor for a chevelle...it was a canadian car....also when i was in high school a guy bought a very nice mostly original 1970 lemans and it came with a small block chevy....he rolled it not long after buying it....

Could be that GM Canada carried over the 327, Pontiac Beaumonts had 327's in 68 maybe 69 too
