You guys were told that orders are being filled 2-3 weeks from placement? How is that possible when some of us have been waiting forever? I paid for mine on Sept. 9, 2005 and have not received them yet!

I E-mailed Ron the other day about pricing and availability on a set of headers for my new engine build, Still haven't heard anything....and after reading this, It'll be COD or Doug's.

After waiting 15 months and hearing mine were going to ship in a week numerous times, I bough a set of Doug's. Great fit, look much better than Ron's and my reverse/steering lockout linkage still works!

How do you know that Doug's headers look better than Ron's if you don't own a set of Ron's headers yet. Do you think people are stupid and can't tell that you are a cry baby. Get a life tough guy, if you got a problem with Ron then deal with him direct and knock off your **** about the man. Find something else to do with your time tough guy.

How can you deal with Ron directly? I would love to do just that. As far as I can tell, this site is the only thing that halfway works to comunicate with Ron.

I actually was a little disappointed in the look of the welds on the tri-ys from the pictures. They are definitely not the quality of weld I was hoping for. I talked to Ron (about a year ago) and asked him if he was tigging the tubes and he said that the tubes were going to be mig welded. I was pretty disappointed at the time and it looks like my fears were accurate. From the pictures, those welds look like somebody stuck the tubes together with caulk. I hope if I ever get my headers they look better than that. I am at 19 months myself and I can't even get a call. The last time Ron talked to me was February. I would have to see it to believe it if Ron is delivering anything in 2-3 weeks. And if that is the case, I think it is pretty crappy.

He has a good product, but like any fledgling business with a labor intensive product, he needs to get established before economies of scale kick-in which would turn the corner towards profitability."

Yeah, I gave Ron a interest free $700 loan 19 months ago myself.

I also gave Ron an interest free loan of about $925.00. I dont remember the exact amount because its been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time since then. Jim

You got your money back dude! You charged back your PayPal payment. You got your resolution. Why come back to beat up the guy? Is it because of your deep, abiding concern to see that others don't get inconvenienced for a time and then given a refund when they weren't satisfied? Give me a break!

Doug's make some fine headers and I'm glad that you are happy with them and get to enjoy your car. Now have some class and go away.
