I believe the F-body came with a 3.8 Buick motor in the late seventies so mounts etc should be available. Adapters are available to use the 700 bolt pattern although the 200R4 would probably be preferred in this installation. You will only have to deal with the down pipe for an exhaust so that should not present much of a problem. Sounds like a neat swap. You can get FI, a turbo and OD all in one package.

I was told it's a 700r4-I'm unfortunately woefully ignorant of anything new that isn't Ford (I'm a dealership tech for Lincoln) My last ride was a 64GTO with a 427 & Powerglide(10.19 at 137)then a 65 chevy PU with an olds 455 (12.08 at 109) So, if you can tell me how to tell a 700 from a 200 then I'll know.
