Gearbanger.
I have also heard that al requires one extra point of CR. However, I have never found one test that has been made that confirms or even hints at that much difference. In fact a recent test by Car Craft magazine tested an iron and an Al head from the same company with all variables on the heads, including CR, as identical as was possible to make and guess what! The two sets of heads made identical power even with the same CR!

If you know of documented tests and/or results that confirm that one full point is required to make equal power, please advise as to where they are and how we can access them.
