This statement made me laugh out loud! Clearly, anyone who would make this statement hasn't had much experience with Joe. If you search the business forum you will find many members describing their experience with the Parts Place. Simply stated, Joe is a rude, arrogant, a$$.

If this is his car, it would answer some questions.

Are the bids real? No way.

Is it likely that this auction is being used for publicity, to draw attention to the car for a future sale? I would bet the farm on it.

Would Joe manipulate details or circumstance for his own gain? Without question.

Would I buy this car if I knew Joe had anything to do with it? Not a chance.

I don't know if this is Joe's car, although the ebay seller and Joe seem to share some personality traits.

Have I made any "actionable" statements here? NO, the truth is not actionable.
