car crazy is right. the company is don jer. they have many colors of flocking to choose from. i just restored my 66 gto,check it out, freds gto .com, and i purchased their cheap kit with the hand flocker. worked great.i was so pleased that i redid my glove box.just make sure that you sand off all the original stuff down to the fiberglass base,that way you will have a perfectfinished job.
i to had the metal tab in the hinge of my console door and i thought it was a spring,but couldn't figure out how it works,so decided i don't need it.the lid works fine without it.if you recall, when the car was new all that this thing did was release the lid from the lock,well, now you press the lock and lift the lid pretty much like you did with this thing in there.
