Wow, very nice stuff - take a look at his other current auctions. I'd bet that only begins to scratch the surface of his collection (no pun intended).

I can't believe the RAII motor is being beat by the RAIII, that is nuts to me.

The RAII has 7 day to go, while the RAIII has less than 1.

Chris what are you referring to on 2506, I was expecting the II block to be cast that after your post but it's E288. I couldn't find 2506 anywhere
By the way, we all enjoyed a very nice steak dinner at the Brothers Hooligan's last night. |

I got you now, leaving off the 979 sent me in a tail spin. I'm not that familiar with the cast number to the II, BUT all kinds of weird things happened back then. Since Lance is selling it; and I don't think he would misrepresent anything, I would have to assume it’s yet another Pontiac anomaly.

'69 WS blocks dated January and later are commanding big bucks these days. Seems to be many Judge owners out there that need them. The #48 heads with January and later dates are also regularly bringing $700.00+. I've got $3k tied up in a bare '69 WS block and #48 heads. With the cost of the remaining date coded engine components, you could easily be looking at $5k in parts before you send it off to the machine shop.
