Nice story Bandit. Il bet you cant wait to get it home. If memory serves, a black 72 may be a rare color for that year Goat. Post some pics when you geta chance.

And welcome to the forum. If you need tech advice or just wanna shoot the shi**, then you couldnt have come to a better place for Pontiacs.

Yes, it cost me an extra $100 to get it black. I was shocked because at that time I had never heard of a car that didn't come in black. It was not in the budget. Because black was not standard in 1972, it arrived from the Atlanta factory with a Wilderness Green Endura front bumper and a quart of special black paint in the trunk. The Goat has about 110,000 on it now.
