So, by the sound of it, this 12-bolt probably came from a '70-'72 Firebird or Camaro. He thought it may have come from a '73 or '74 Super Duty, any chance of that? Thanks all

I coulda sworn the '71 & '72 455 H-O cars had the 12 bolts in them too.

But I could be wrong about that...

My father was the original owner of our 1970 formula it came with a 12 bolt from the factory.

I have never seen A 12 bolt under an original 73 -74 anything. All the SDs I've seen had the 'corporate' 10 bolts.
I am pretty sure all 12 bolts were done, regardless of application, after the '72 model year.

As Dave said, in Firebirds, 1970 was the only year to be able to have the 12 bolt rear.

So that leaves SD TA's out.

Not to say that a 12 bolt from a Camaro wasn't put in it. Or even a Chevelle/GP/A-body 12 bolt.
