Default I will reply one time only

This post was put on here to get a rise out of me.Here is how this went down.I sent one of my customers carbs to Tom with a off idle stumble. After a few weeks he called me and we went over the problem. He did not see any problems with it other than the calibration and was willing to recalibrate it and send it back free of charge the following week.I expressed to him this was not my carb which he charged me to work on in the past.It was my customers and to make it worth his while for his time.He said no problem, still no charge.I contacted my customer and told him it was on the way and he was nice enough to do it for free. This is where it went bad.I contacted him via pm 3 weeks later and he said he was on it.Another 3 weeks goes by and still no carb.I contacted him again via pm again and he got pissed off.He had this carb for 3 months.A few weeks into it I told the customer he would get it back and he asked about it constantly as I would have also.I had nothing to tell him accept for it was on the way but that only works for so long. The way I look at is I am an employee of the customer and I am obligated to get answers when they are presented to me by him.If this makes me a prick in someone elses eyes so be it.My customers come first that is the bottom line. This was a strait up deal between two grown men and he dropped the ball!As for your real job you sent the letter about Tom dont loose it you will go broke otherwise.Overpaid lazy people drove a once great OEM (FORD) into the ground.Brian Ulrich
