pinstripe size pics with ruler
This took alot of pictures to get the flash right. I know the size Doug posted. The larger stripe starts 1/4 inch down and measures 3/32nds. These being original could the stripe have shrunk 1/64 over 42 years? The smaller stripe is 1/16th. There is 1/8th gap between the 2 stripes.

I believe your measurments are correct, minus the Seinfeld factor (shrinkage).. You can even get the proper stripping tape to paint those puppies back on. -r-

Thanks Patrick,and Doug.Looks like the pinstripe mystery is over.Doug,thanks again for the radiator.I did not know that the black 2+2 was yours,that magazine article is in the trunk for reference!Appreciate your help Patrick!
