Up in minnasota in the winter time we would take old shop rags, soak them in water and stuff them in the rust holes and bondo right over them! they would freez up and in rare instances would actually add structural strength to a termanaly ill car. wet newspapers work in a pinchtoo. bondo takes a while to harden below -19. watched my uncle paint a car right out on the curb side in Queens newyork. middle of a sunday afternoon. drank a beer, taped it off, drank a beer painted it, drank a beer and pulled off the tape. Drank a few more beers and passed out in the front yard. A neighbors cat hopped up on the hood and walked across the hood up the glass across the top aand down and across the trunk. Those paw prints lasted longer than he or the cat did.

you cant beat it,,, i spent 75bucks and worked 3 hours one day and 4 hours the next. all holes are filled and its alot better then the peeling red look.
everyone on my street loves it now,,, that red was bringing the property values down lol im probably going to give it a frame off in 10years when that trucks worth some more money. 67-72 are the years people want,,,in the short bed style. |

Good Job Sandman! The money you save can go in the gas tank so you can haul home more Pontiac parts. I'm proud, and I'm sure Red Green would be proud as well.

Looks a lot better. Now it's a 20 footer, and there is nothing wrong with "20 footer" trucks!
NOT BAD FOR THE MONEY, ARE YOU GOING TO BUY MORE PAINT TO DEEPEN THE BACK HALF COLOR?
