Does anyone sell the black plastic clips that hold the wires on the driver side fender, I think there are 3 of them? I don't see them in resto catalogs and have never found any at area swap meets. It's for a 64 GTO, not sure if this is a common part between other years/model or not though. Thanks guys.

There are a couple of slightly different variations of this clip, but they all have a oval end that fits in to the accompanying hole in the inner fender. This is one of those '64 only parts that is not reproduced, but can be found on Lemans Tempest, and fullsize cars for '64, and I believe also '63.
You might be able to find some from guys who have parted cars out before. I picked up a few at the POCI meet in Greenville |

You talking about Tobacco days car show?? I saw your cars there. very nice
If you looked at the ones on my step dads car,(white 65) They were off something 80's Cavalier. we all know the source of those they worked and fit but not "correct" There is a guy up a Jefferson every year that sells these things (and other plastic clips, hooks and thingamajigs) just NE of the buildings

Since you are in Janesville, head north to highway X just south of Belleville and go to Jim and Joe Watkins salvage yard. There are at least 5 or 6 63 to 64 Pontiac tempests/lemans and fullsize cars. They are in good shape and have lots of good parts still on them. One of the old time type salvage yards still around the midwest.
Hope this helps, |

Are you talking about a clip that pushes thru 2 holes? As in a strap & then each end goes into a round hole in the fenderwell metal?
I know the 65-and up clips, you push one end thru a hole & the center of the other end of the clip wraps around the wiring & goes into the middle of the plastic end, forcing the "wings" on that retainer to lock in-place. On 63 & 64s the clips don't work that way & are not the same. I am looking for some for my '63 lemans.

I have a 64 star cheif that I'm parting out that might have that clip. I can get it to you for a real cheap price if its the right one.
