Default 65 lemans Disc conversion front and rear info needed?

Hi
I just got my old 65 lemans back same one i had in high school.I sold it 15 years ago and just got it back(its hammered).Anyways i have been reading about converting it to disc but not sure which way to go Ive seen posts about S-10 a easy to come bye car here,68-72 big gm cars which are few and far between up here and not cheap when you do see them for sale. But not sure which route to go.I havent found a post that shows you how to do it either.Im also wanting to do the rear end as well.
I would like to know what donner cars will work whats the easiest route, what you would actually need off the car etc.I did my 65 mustang it was easy just bought a granada for 50.00 and a lincon versie for a 100.00 and everything bolted right in,4 whell disc for 150.00 I was hoping that there would be somthing similar for the lemans.
any advice or if you could point me to the right post i would really apreciate it.
thanks a bunch

First you need to spec out what you are doing to the car- stock, restified, autocross, etc. What budget are you working with? What rims are you planning to use?

Hi Scarebird
Im have limited budget, like everyone else The cars not stock and i dont care about keeping it stock, it already has power brakes and its got a engine and tranny from a TA.Its a auto but used to be a 4 speed as it still has the old pedal in it.Im planning on putting some type op aftermarket rims on it but not sure which ones yet.

You have several choices then, here is a quick breakdown:

Our GTO kit - a medium duty budget setup designed to fit inside a stock 14 x 6" drum rim.

GM stock 1969-72 setup - will fit inside 14" disc rims, good stopping power. Aftermarket repops will not fit inside 14" rims due to stamping error.

1LE Tall Spindle conversion - need 15" rims, but offers excellent value- fixes A body roll issue. Will increase turning radius and shim stack though.

Wilwood and clones - Fit 15" and up depending on rotor size. Not a true street setup as calipers do not have dust boots on pistons. Some kits offered with PBR calipers to fix this. Build quality varies to say the least.

AFX spindles - high dollar tall spindle, needs 17" rims but offers excellent stopping power.
