Can't answer your roll bar question but wanted to congratulate you on your new best - very nice. The humidity drop is also helping our times as well. Jim

Congratulations, Joe. Curtis and I hope to get out to the track in a week or two to take advantage of the improving air. Hopefully see you then.

Everything I've seen and read about those roll bars from that outfit indicates they are not NHRA/IHRA legal for competition use.
My understanding is they are a "street" style deal. I strongly advise anybody even considering this undertaking go out and buy a rulebook and read it very closely,or you will be wasting a fair amount of time, money, and materials on a bar that wont pass even a cursory tech inspection.

FYI:This info is'nt necessarily 100% current,it's from an older rule book.
Again,I strongly advise you take it to a pro to have this done right,or get a kit from a respected chassis outfit and use the rulebook and follow it to the letter! And do note,a roll cage has even more complex rule requirements than the simple roll bar does. HTH. |

Still I strongly advise getting the rulebook and reading it closely,as poor execution of the bar installation can fail the bar as fast as incorrect materials or improper design or such. Lots of details to remember that people dont always think about as a first timer. |
