Hi,
I bought a 2.5" X-Pipe complete system from Pypes for my 462 cid, 68 GTO with log exhaust manifolds. I'm very happy with it so far. Car is a M20 four speed. No clearance problems, not overly loud. I had it installed by a muffler shop on an overhead lift. Quick and easy. All pipe connections were clamped.
With RA exh manifolds and HO, you will probably gain a little HP from improved flow and less backpressure.
Mike

Thanks Dog,

Does the Pypes x pipe have baffles in it?

Also, you wouldn't happen to have a spare radio connector or harness???
