Anyone know where I can find a list for factory main bearing numbers? I would like to know what bearings are in our 455.
Thanks, Jim

John,
Thanks for getting back to me. The engine is a '74, YY 485428. The bearing in question is numbered as follows: 22H3,57501, GMM400. Does this make any sense? Thanks, Jim

The GMM400 is the Moraine 400 bearings, which are the good ones Pontiac put in from the factory.
I'd say they are the originals.

Thanks John. That's my engine. Is it quite rare to see standard, factory bearings? I don't think I ever have on a running engine of this vintage. Especially one that looks so damn clean....
