Brian ,Gays GTO was featured in Super Stock around july 1966.I don't have the Gray GHost other than a back end pic of their 63 Cat.Also there were a couple of different articles in different years for Arnies different GTO's usually Super Stock.There was another GTO article in SS around 65/66 for a 65 GTO I can't for the life of me think of his name he was from Detroit area,geez about 10 min. Arnie Beswick says it was made from the same mold as his funny car!

That car is deserving of a restoration...even if it means having to sell one of the beautiful GTO's below it to do it. I found some old pictures of it in Assassin trim from back in the day, will see if I can find and post them again.

The Grey Ghost is in line for a restoration, it is part of a huge collection of Pontiacs 40+ cars. The Platinum 66 is a 30+ option 80k mile Tri-Power 4spd with red fender liners & will never be sold. The Linden Green 67 is a real Ram Air 4spd post car, also not for sale. Would you want to sell them if they were your's??? Hey Brian can you email me that pic of the Grey Ghost in its real colors. Thanks, Moe. Anyone else have pics or tech info they can email me please I need as much detail as possible so we can get it right.

Do you know any history on the Linden Green 67? By any chance did it come out of Minnesota? PM me if you had rather not reply on here.

RE: Grey (Gray??) Ghost. Doesnt a picture of the '63 SD car of Mike Garfinkel and associate of Chicago area show up in McCarthys book???

All 14 (13???) of these cars were Cadillac Fire Mist Silver with med blue catalina interiors. I had one when it only had 36 miles on the odo..... also have photos of it.....dont know how to post them.

Or are we talking about another car sporting the same name??????

Glad to know it's in good hands, A guy I know, was the one who found this car, by word of mouth, in a backyard in Peoria, Ill, I was wanting to buy it from him , but I was Laid off from GM at the time, and transfering to another plant, (right car/ wrong time), he didn't have it very long. how are you planning to restore it? that car was lighter and a little more "cutting edge" in construction, (Lil John Buttera built) than Arnie's car.

We went and looked at that car and wanted to buy it when i was still a kid. It was only like 30 minutes away from the house. Glad to see its still around instead of being destroyed

Tri13-- that Eddie Hill twin Pontiac powered rail was the strongest runner at the time--around 190 mph--was able to tear holes in the pavement.
