They could be had either way........but the Tempest was a post as standard equipment, Lemans was a hardtop as standard, same as a GTO.

More Pics. I have gotten rid of the oil filter relocator. Running 275 60 15 Hoosier drag radials tucked up in the fender well now.

Just thought I'd post some more pics of the ones I put on Page 3 of the night , put some LED lights in the grill to make it look EVIL , and MEAN!!!! (some may like , some may not , but I like it ,put a toggle switch on the dash to kill it in cause of a fuzz! )
The next step is to have a cut out made on the bottom of the bumper that says "PONTIAC" so it will light up on the ground in red!! |

A friend of mine has the bottom lights on his 67 used for a Ram air set up and there fore has no bulbs in the bottom. He has a stroble light in each side that flash independant of eachother. Looks cool at night. |

I just realized I haven't posted any new pics with the parchment top on the car here in this thread. I know a lot of people aren't crazy about vinyl tops, but I am very happy that we went forward and installed the top...

I am not really a fan of vinyl tops, but that really changed the look of the car. Looks great!

Here's a photo of my 66 Tempest Custom HT I've been looking for for ages. 326/2bbl and 2 speed ST-300, with bench seat. Thought I had more but this seems to be all I can find.
There is no rust on the car, it's just because the photo is so old that is looks that way. The paint and chrome on it were perfect. This is the one I put the 65 hood on to, plus the 66 GTO grills and parking lights. Only cost me 75.00 for everything for the grills, swapped some college books for the hood, and all done back in 72. I also put on the chrome reverse wheels with Dunlop tires... 14's up front and 15's in the rear.
