Every time I've called them or had questions via email they responded quickly and professionally. I've had only good experiences with them. How many company's can you say that about?

I've heard only good things about both Hagerty and Grundy. I went with Grundy because they had no problem insuring a pro-street car. Hagerty wouldn't touch it with a ten-foot pole.

Im also insured with American Collectors, which is the American Bankers Insurance Company based in Florida. The agreed value us about 12K, I am paying $110.00/year. Soon I will have a Dude 455 in there with maybe a blower following. I have a couple of questions.
1. SHould I have the car appraised or just speak with the insurance company to raise the value of the car. 2. Should I switch companies. The insurance card says "Historical" because I got a license plate from 1977 and had it registered, but far as I know there is no restiction on driving as long as it is not a daily driver.
