I have a December 1971 built 72 GTO with a September 1972 PHS - I don't have the additional codes on mine however.

Sales were slow in 1972!

Default 72 lemans

Jeff,
The car was ordered for Peter Toth. The address you see on the PHS is probably his home address. There were no dealers in Pontiac with that name and it was probably ordered thru the Pontiac Retail Store which was in Downtown Pontiac. When that closed down Most of the employees went to Packer Pontiac to get there vehicles delivered. If you look at the bottom left area above the address it looks like something relating to a five percent charge which could have been what the monthly paymen was back then for a company lease vehicle. Give me a call and I can go over it with you.

Default Don't know if anyone cares but:

I took a drive down Hemstead Street tonight. It is actually in a suburb of Pontiac called Auburn Hills, though the City of Pontiac is right across the street. As is the Auburn Pontiac Dealership which was called Packer Pontiac in the day. I'd be very suprised if the address in question was a PMD bigshot as the house is very modest. Adding to the mystery?
