Thanks for all the nice comments guys!

Here is the bottom of the hood and the inside of the doors and trunk lid now in new Polar White paint. The bottom of the hood was first painted with black primer and then oversprayed in the factory pattern underneath......



Here is the restored original Hurst shifter, with re-chromed shaft and restored t-handle:



And a nice "before and after" comparison of the bottom of the hood:
