First we sandblast the pedals to bare metal, then they are painted silver to look like bare metal, then they are dipped in black paint to replicate the factory procedure.

Since they are painted silver first, the "bare metal" areas don't rust like they did from the factory.

what did u use for the trunk splatter.....there have been so many opinions about what is correct, thanks

The spatter paint is the stuff sold through Ames. It's not an absolute perfect match to the original but it's as close as I have found.
