That's some tedious reading! Looks like the dissenting judge got it right. Maybe having it continue in the courts will be a good thing as the facts will be presented for all to see.
Does a defense fund need to be started?

What "super lawyer"? A suit was filed. The defendant motioned for a dismissal on jurisdiction grounds and won that decision. The plaintiff appealed and the facts as presented in the case were gone over by a 3 judge panel, deciding 2-1 in favor of the plaintiff. How is this the result of a "super lawyer"? Sounds like a simple argument of "no I'm not...yes your are" and it doesn't take a "super lawyer" to get that done, just a court ruling in your favor. Sounds like the judges had quite a bit of laws and precedent rulings to go over before making their decision. Where does it go from here? Another appeal from the defendant or straight to courtroom proceedings? If the latter, then it will be time for witnesses to be called, and evidence to be presented, and it will all be focused around that "bad block". Where's my popcorn and drink?

That's just saying the court will continue to hear the case in Ohio, it's not a judgment on the merits.

That said - can you imagine having to go to Ohio to defend yourself from a lawsuit like that when you bought the block from VA, had it shipped to you in VA, and then told your story on the internet?

Oh no, it's not over...the arguments up to this point are over whether or not the case should even be heard. For those that thought it was over and got excited...relax...grab a snack and your favorite beverage.

Really sad (:>((( with this whole deal.

At least no one got killed in the deal and that is a really big thing with any aftermarket part used on a race track. You never want anyone to needlessly die from a mistake.

It was in the toilet long before they made any blocks as far as I'm concerned.

Default Reputation!!!

As for as I am concerned they are good people and have a GREAT REPUTATION. They are only doing what any other company would do under these circumstances. For you GUYS who have never dealt with the Kauffman's you guys should shut up and not even give your OPINION. It is to bad for all concerned in this case(and the hole Pontiac community) but if you can't take the heat don't start the fire OR add gasoline to the fire. Thanks Maurice. PS!!! I thought the Moderator said that we had enough of this thread!!! AND I did not see any of you GUYS reply on the threads that had good comments about the Kauffman's!!! Where were you GUYS!!! Most of you GUYS are D**K HEADS anyway!!!!!! (some of you GUYS) are.

Maurice...... Your so cute when you get mad. Whats up with the name calling and such??? Seems to me the mods should just delete your post and slap you with a warning. I don't see anyone else out hear calling names or ranting. They are just posting what is going on with the case. Only saw two people post their opinion of REK's reputation and both of them have had dealings with them in the past.

Default GUYS!!!

Scott, you are not one of the (GUYS) I was talking about. It is your fight and you have to do what you have to do just like the Kauffman's. It's the other GUYS that give their stupid opinion when it's not their fight!!! I am not mad just tired of this thread. Now it's time to let the courts decide who is right or wrong and who knows if they will even get it right for all concerned. Maurice. PS. I think that one of the rules should be that when anyone sighs off their post they should put their real name so you know who you are talking to. I think no name, something to hide!

If it Scott's fight, then you shouldn't be posting either, right?
