The p/o of my car had regular bolts holding down the M/T valve covers and I misplaced a couple of them at some point. I found some that worked perfectly in the help section at the local parts store - I don't remember what the intended application was, though. Might be worth checking into. Of course, I'm sure I ended up paying $5.00 for $1.00 worth of fasteners, but I was in a hurry to get things back together.
