Absolutely. When I worked at the truck plant you had Chevy's and GMCs going down the same line (with separate VIN sequences. Chevy's started at 100001 and GMCs started at 500001). That includes Blazer and Suburban, and then pickups (2wd, 4wd, short box, long box, fleetside and stepside).

Even today at the Arlington plant we build Chevy, GMC and Cadillac all down the same line.
