I thought this thread was about horsepower? What does ET have to do with power? MPH and weight of vehicle show horsepower.

The farm boys in Ohio can claim whatever they like to try and sell product. That's their right.

Their reputation outweighs any claims they may or not make. Those in the know........know.

For the record, My best ET to date is [email protected] weighing 2400lbs. Anyone with a sim program can plug that data into a 1600lb dragster and see how it comes up.

ET is not a measure of HP as much as MPH is and that why Scott Rex and John Langer's cars right now have the most NA HP. Anyone can put a low HP motor in a digger and run a good time, but they are boring to watch.

I have bought many parts from KRE and have enjoyed many conversations with Jeff, but I agree with Ron H. Kauffman needs to right all the wrongs with faulty products and drop the suit. Until then I will shop elsewhere and will not recommend them to other Pontiac enthusiast. And for the Record I have easily dropped 10k with KRE. I know that is not as much as others have spent, but for my hard earned money it is alot.

Robert

I thought having fun was the main ingredient.
It would be great if KRE dropped the suit and made whole for their failed product. Get over it and move on. Then the whole Pontiac community could possibly be the quickest and the fastest on their power.
Those are two very sensible thoughts that I agree with whole heartedly.

Scott, I think if we put your motor in a 1600lb red, you would be knocking on the door of the quickest Pontiac (NA or boosted) 1/4 to date. BES has managed to get the most power out of a Pontiac to date. Thats not a point of debate, its simply a fact.

Not wanting to start a fight - but those numbers are very optomistic -- the faster you go - the need for power gets exponetial -- Im thinking that motor My do a 6.8 or 6.9 in a digger - just my observation.

Scott R., I do not understand (The farm boys in Ohio) is that the Kauffman's you are referring to. FARM as in FARMING, I guess their clam is, the boys from Ohio that farm after market Pontiac parts for us dumb city boys, that makes our race cars go alot faster. That is a great complement from you Scott, to the Kauffman's,if that is who you are referring to!!! Great reputation with me AND I am in the KNOW you KNOW. Scott just to clarify, when you ran T/S in New Jersey, you ran that 7.38 on Thursday's OPEN Test n Tune but when you were qualifying for the Top Sportmans race you only ran 7:49(?) on the qualifying sheet, am I correct. Thats fast!!!
