Tech @ BG........Here is the WHOLE story.....since you want to ASSume waaaayyyy too much.

First, I never threatened from the beginning anything. I did tell Jeff @ BG on Friday that I would put a reply on the thread on PY about what did happen. That wasn''t a threat, it was just putting an ending to my story for those that read it before. I Stated that it would probably cost between $75 and $150 to repair the pump and it wasn't worth that to me. You replied to me, not anyone else, that if it was just leaking it would be $25. Here is that post:

I rebuilt Holley blue pumps all the time for myself and others. Never had an issue. For $75 I didn't expect much from those pumps but they did well for the money. When I pay $300+ for a pump, I expect more. I haven't had good results from either BG280 pump I've bought. Each has lasted just over a year. I bought the second one just because I didn't want to send the first one back to get repaired. Now I have two leaking pumps. Why would I send them back and pay $75-150 for each to be repaired plus shipping and have them last a year again? Just doesn't make sense. I'll be switching to something else.

The pump came off a friend of mines DRAG CAR that was only used at the track for less than a year. It was gravity fed. It was fed with a #10 line. It did have a 500GPH filter before the pump.


I knew better than to send it back because of issues like I'm having with you guys. You talked me into it. All I'm doing now is talking people oout of making the same mistake that i did. I'm done. Barry Grany will be out of business or sold off soon enough. Real racers don't use your stuff anymore, at least pump wise.

Trust me, chase me all over the internet. I won't stop bad mouthing you guys. All this over one pump. I hope it's worth it to you cause I already got my moneys worth. Also, I won't trust the pump once you send it back cause I figure you guys have messed with it by now and are laughing about it. So when I sell it to someone, I will tell them the whole story and say use at you own risk. Then you can deal with another dissatisfied customer when it fails on them. Customer service in this country has gone in the toilet. I am in sales and I know what customer service is all about. I keep multi-million dollar clients factories up and running. Downtime to them is in the tens of thousands of dollars per minute in some cases. I keep them satisfied. You guys should learn what customer service is all about.

And I wish you would quit the lying and get the story straight. I NEVER SAID FROM THE BEGINNING anything that was threatening!!!!!!!!!!! I talked to Jeff on Friday and he told me it was $105. I told him I had read a thread on PY that said it was $25 to fix the leak. He said he knew nothing about it and and would check with someone and get back with me on Monday. I told him that I said in the thread that I had stated that it was more likely $75-$150 to fix it and it wasn't worth that to me, I'd just buy a new pump. I told him that since it was $105 and not $25 that I would follow up on the thread and let people know what the outcome was. When he called back on Monday and told me there was nothing he could do and it was still $105, I then told him no problem. I would make sure to let as many people as I could know about what happened. So it wasn't from tjhe beginning. I didn't try to get anything for free. I was simply asking why YOU said $25 to fix a pump if it was leaking and it cost $105. How the he** can I bully a big company like BG? I can't. But I can express my frustration of how you treat customers like me. And I have.
