One more thing comes to mind, how much knock do you hear on a cold running diesel? They must absorbe some of those harmonics. Damn things sound like they are comming apart at idle.

I would have told him to shut it down Imediately if i had known it was vibrating, Supposedly the Fluid dampers work good on the Low RPM Diesels, Nascar just outlawed them and TCI Rattlers, run whatever ya want I'm just stating what i've personally seen, on the Flip side My Paps ran one for 3 years that was ok but when torn apart the Factory forged Crank "BBC" 7400 RPM was cracked in 6 places And i figure the crank would have let go if the Damper wasn't doing its job, so take it for what its worth I wouldn't run one But many have and still do without issue, ATI.Summit SFI, PowerBond,Romac seem to be the Best Bet right Now atleast to Me

i was on butlers site and they sell the moroso pulley with a spacer for 60 bucks or so. cast pulley wont look great with my polished aluminum march pulleys but what do ya do?
my summit sfi hasnt had any problems in 6 years of abuse from my 450 hp 400. not exactly a monster but enough to shake a pp balancer apart i guess.
