Here is the latest. My body man has to paint the inside of the doors and hang them. Then I will bring the car home and start putting what I can back on.
I painted the steering column and will reassemble it this week. I also took the floor shifter apart, cleaned iy and put it back together. It will need a new handle or rechroming of the old one. I paid $10.00 for a can of Mariner Turquoise paint for the steering column. It took 6 hours to do the work. Labor@ 257 hrs = $5140.00 Parts.............. = $7203.19 Outside Labor.. = $3000.00 Total........... = $15243.00

Maybe I will get a chance to catch up(my car) to you Phil since you are having to stop for a while.Hopefully your stop won't be very long.Check to see if your body guy has started painting the '64.(pics)
