Don't forget some 8 lugs with that gp nose. It makes you wonder about the the original owners idea behind ordering it just that way, (to the salesman) " well i'd like to haul the whole family on a vacation to disneyland then when i get back do a little bracket racing" reminds me of the two dudes that ordered 4 door 66' hemi belvederes.

Funny you mention the four door Hemi cars. Both of those cars were in Wichita, Kansas in the 70's, and I knew their owners. They were actually Dodge Coronets, not Plymouth Belvideres.

The red one was ordered new by Floyd Cline, owner of Pappy Cline's Dyno. He was a regular at the local dragstrip with his 4-door 59 Chevy race car called "The Eradicator" (one of his employees drove the car). Floyd owned the car until his death. It was then sold and re-sold a few times. I last saw the car at the May 2007 Mecum auction in Belvidere, IL. It did not meet reserve.

The white one was purchased new in Alabama. The owner later relocated to Wichita.
A friend of mine heard about the car from an employee of a Wichita parts store where the original owner had gone to purchase an air filter. It was his regular driver at that time. My friend tracked down the owner and asked him to contact him when he was ready to sell the car. He got the call about a year later, I think about 1978. My friend rebuilt the original engine, (it had a lot of miles on it by then) and kept the car for a few years. He decided to sell the car in the early 80's, and advertised it in Hemmings. He was contacted by Don Garlits, who purchased the car for display in his museum in Ocala, FL. I visited the museum about 3 years ago, the car was still there. The sign by the car states that it was owned by an FBI agent, but that is not true. The original owner was just an ordinary guy.

There are rumors that there were four cars built, two more built for Canadian export, I am not sure.

This 67 wagon looks like a great car. I hope someone buys it and treats it right.

There was a Chrysler collector near here who had a Hemi 66 Coronet 4 door back in the early 90's. It was supposedly 1 of 2.
